On April 10 2025, the Zelenograd District Court in Moscow sentenced streamer Alexander Sokolovsky to four years of forced labor on charges of inciting hatred (Article 282, part 2a of the Criminal Code). The case was opened in May 2024 after Ekaterina Mizulina, head of the “Safe Internet League,” filed a complaint and published a clip in which Sokolovsky harshly criticised Russian soldiers. His apartment was searched, he was detained and forced to issue a video apology, and he remained in custody until the verdict.
