Police verbally and physically assaulted Netgazeti journalist Khetevan Khutsishvili during clashes outside the Georgian Dream (GD) mayoral headquarters in Tbilisi. The violence began when GD supporters attacked anti-government protesters in what appeared to be a staged provocation. Several journalists were also attacked, yet police made no arrests. The officer who insulted and assaulted Khutsishvili was later identified as Khuta Pachkoria, Deputy Head of the Tbilisi Police Department.
