Supporters of the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party physically attacked Publika journalist Ketevan Mikadze outside the campaign headquarters of mayoral candidate Kakha Kaladze. They also targeted anti-government protesters in what appeared to be a staged provocation. Several journalists were injured in the clashes, yet police made no arrests. The attackers also seized Mikadze’s phone.
