The Russian Ministry of Justice has added Novosibirsk journalist Andrey Sivenok to the register of “foreign agents.” According to the ministry, he allegedly spread “fakes” about Russian government policy and the electoral system, and interacted with other “foreign agents.” In 2021, Sivenok was expelled from the journalism faculty of Novosibirsk State University, which he linked to his publications about problems at the university.
