The Russian Ministry of Justice has added journalist Ksenia Kirillova to its register of “foreign agents.” According to the Ministry of Justice, she spoke out against the war in Ukraine and “participated in the creation and distribution of messages and materials of foreign agents to an unlimited circle of persons.”. Ksenia Kirillova is an expert on Russian propaganda. She has collaborated with Radio Liberty, the Center for European Policy Analysis (CEPA), and Jamestown Foundation. These organisations have been declared “undesirable” in Russia. In early July, a protocol on Kirillova's connection with an “undesirable” organisation was submitted to a Moscow court.
