A criminal case has been opened against Mediazona correspondent Alla Konstantinova under the article on violating the requirements for “foreign agents” (330.1 of the Criminal Code). The case was opened on April 24, but the Investigative Committee did not notify the journalist. The exact reason for the prosecution is unknown. Konstantinova has already been fined three times under a similar administrative article (19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences).
