The Russian Ministry of Justice has added journalist, independent researcher, and co-founder of the OVD-Info project Grigory Okhotin to its list of “foreign agents.” According to the Ministry of Justice, he spread fake news about the decisions and policies of the Russian authorities and spoke out against the “special military operation” in Ukraine. The OVD-Info project was added to the register of “foreign agents” in September 2021.
