The Basmanny District Court has begun proceedings in the criminal case against blogger Solim Kamin. He faces charges under the article on spreading military “fakes” (paragraph "d" of Part 2, Article 207.3 of the Russian Criminal Code) and for making public calls for actions against state security (paragraphs "c" and "d" of Part 3, Article 280.4). Kamin has been held in custody since October 8, 2024. According to the prosecution, he is allegedly behind the VKontakte page “Neydjad-Amunhepset Targaryen,” which primarily featured reposts from Ukrainian and Russian opposition media concerning the war in Ukraine.
