A criminal case has been opened against blogger and publicist Anatoly Nesmiyan on charges of justifying terrorism under Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code. The precise grounds for the prosecution have not yet been disclosed. In August 2024, blogger Alina Lushavina from Samara was charged under the same article for reposting one of Nesmiyan’s publications concerning the terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall.
