On Tuesday, July 1, journalist Măriuța Nistor from Ziarul de Gardă was threatened by Alexei Lungu, president of the “Şansă” party and an ally of Ilan Șor. Lungu warned that a criminal case would be opened against her after the parliamentary elections on September 28. Throughout the day, he repeatedly intimidated Nistor and obstructed her work, accusing her of “spreading falsehoods and using forgeries.”
