It has become known that journalist Elena Prikhodko has been declared wanted. A photograph of the former employee of the Svetlogorsk media company “Ranak” appeared on police bulletin boards in the city among individuals wanted for committing crimes. The notice states that the journalist is being sought under Article 361-1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus — “Creation of or participation in an extremist formation.” The police bulletin titled “Wanted!” also indicates that the suspect has gone into hiding from the Main Investigative Committee Directorate (GUSK).
