On June 23, six doctors from the Yerevan medical center "Nork-Marash" filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against LLC “Social Media,” demanding a public retraction, compensation of 3 million drams (over $7,500) for defamation, and coverage of state fees. The lawsuit was prompted by a series of video materials and false information published regularly since May 30 of this year on the news website Mamul.am. These materials contained allegations of medical incompetence, inhumane treatment, and various failures, which, according to the plaintiffs, allegedly led to the deaths of patients. The case is currently under review.
