Authorities denied entry to prominent French photographer Marylise Vigneau without providing a specific reason for the refusal. According to Vigneau, after the denial, police attempted to confiscate her phone and threatened that "it would get worse" if she didn’t hand it over. She was eventually allowed to keep the device following a conversation with her lawyer, but her luggage and personal belongings were kept locked away until her flight to Katowice. Vigneau believes the decision may be linked to her past coverage of anti-government protests.
