Journalist and film critic Ekaterina Barabash, accused of spreading “fakes” about the Russian army, fled from house arrest. Russian authorities put her on the wanted list on April 13. On April 30, it became known that Barabash was safe. On May 5, she gave a press conference at the Paris office of Reporters Without Borders. The journalist was placed under house arrest at the end of February.
