The Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg changed the preventive measure against the founder of the Prekrasnaya Rossiya project, YouTube blogger Evgeny Anisimov, in a case of defamation, violation of privacy, and incitement of hatred and enmity on the internet. Anisimov was released from pretrial detention and placed under house arrest with restrictions on certain activities. The reason for the blogger's prosecution was videos in which, according to the security forces, Anisimov insulted “law enforcement officers and natives of Central Asia.” The blogger was arrested in February this year.
