Additional information:

After the opposition Telegram channel NIYSO published posts about the public display of the corpse of a teenager who attacked police officers in Chechnya, the republic's authorities began a mass crackdown on the relatives of the channel's administrators. On April 10, six men, relatives of Said-Ali Abubakirov, including his 73-year-old father, were abducted. They and their wives were forced to sign documents (probably about the seizure of property), subjected to public ostracism in the mosque of the village of Elikhanovo, where they were cursed and demanded to leave Chechnya. After that, the families were taken to Ingushetia, their property was confiscated, and contact with the abducted was lost. Said-Ali Abubakirov himself was forced to leave the region due to threats to his safety.
