The journalist received threatening messages on Facebook from Yevhen Ievlev, the spokesperson for the Kyiv City Military Administration. He accused the journalist of holding pro-Russian views and made threats of physical violence. The threats followed the publication of an investigative report by the journalist, which examined the wealth of employees at territorial recruitment center, including Ievlev’s father.
