On April 29, the LLC "MPG" and its director Aram Navasardyan filed a lawsuit in the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against opposition political figure Hrant Bagratyan and the LLC "Daily Newspaper Hraparak." The plaintiffs demand a retraction of statements damaging the company’s business reputation and the honour and dignity of its director. They also seek a total of 2 million drams (over $5,000) in compensation from Hrant Bagratyan and demand that he apologise to the plaintiffs. The lawsuit was prompted by a segment published on March 30 on Hraparak TV, the newspaper’s YouTube channel, which claimed that "MPG" conducts surveys on behalf of the authorities: "... This so-called Aram Navasardyan is told the numbers, he writes them down, they give him money, everything is prepared as needed." The case is currently under review.
