On April 25, Varduhi Manukyan, an aide to the wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, prohibited Oragir.news correspondent Anahit Ghazarents from attending an event dedicated to her deceased son, threatening to smash the journalist’s head. A few hours later, Anahit Ghazarents described the incident on her Facebook page. Following this, a massive wave of attacks was launched against the journalist on the social network, including insults and threats directed at her.
