Businessman Oleg Deripaska filed a lawsuit in the Arbitration Court of the Krasnodar Region against The Insider, its editor-in-chief Roman Dobrokhotov, and journalist Sergei Ezhov. The reason was an investigation into a Falcon jet owned by Deripaska, which was purchased through a Kazakh company in circumvention of sanctions. The plaintiff demands that, within three days after the court's decision comes into force, a retraction be published on the Kommersant website and The Insider's YouTube channel, and that the article be removed from the publication's website within ten days. If these demands are not met, Deripaska insists on imposing a penalty on the defendants — 10,000 rubles for each day of delay.
