A journalist working for the TV Channel 'My - Ukraina' was attacked during the shooting of a news piece on the shocking murder which took place on the premises of the Shevchenko regional court in Kiev. Viktoria Dmitrenko was attacked by the mother of the murder suspect while attempting to carry out her professional duties. The woman smacked the phone out of her hands and struck her in the face, which was recorded on video and corroborated by witnesses. Viktoria made a police report about the attempt at obstruction of journalism and the attack.
