18th March - Citizen Arsen Avetisyan brought a lawsuit against Hetq.am, an online publication, belonging to civil organisation 'Investigative Journalists', demanding that they refute statements he considers slanderous, apologise, and pay monetary compensation. The reason for the suit is a series of articles published on the 31st of October 2024 and the 12th of February 2025 on Hetq, stating that Avetisyan, with the permission of the mayor of Yerevan, carried out building work to a monument violating the project specifications which caused a criminal case to be opened against him. The case is under consideration.
