On March 30 in Gyumri, on the day of the elections for the city's Council of Elders, a supporter of the ruling "Civil Contract" party attacked journalists, using obscene language and attempting to resort to physical violence. The victims of her attack were Ani Gevorkyan, editor of the news website "NewDay.am," Hripsime Jebejyan, head of the news service of "Tribune.am," and Syuzi Badoyan, a journalist from "Euromedia 24."
