A group of Reuters journalists was injured in a targeted Russian strike on hotel Sapfir in the city of Kramatorsk (Donetsk region). On the 25th of August, the body of Retuers TV crew security advisor Ryan Evans was pulled from the ruins of the building. Two more foreign journalists, Dan Peleshuk (USA) and Viktor Sayenko (Latvia) were injured, requiring short term hospital treatment. Cameraman Ivan Lubysk-Kirdeyi (Ukraine) was seriously injured. He fell into a coma, and is now facing a long period of treatment and rehabilitation.
