Blogger Rashad Ramazanov, who is serving a prison sentence in colony number 15, complained about poor conditions and pressures on him. This was reported by his wife Kenul Ismayilova after visiting her husband. ‘Rashad was very tense and highly agitated. The colony treats convicts very badly. The food is of poor quality and very little time is allotted for meals, so prisoners do not have time to eat properly. There is terrible unsanitary conditions in the kitchen, sanitary facilities and bathhouse. Hot water is provided once a week and for a short time. Food in the prison shop is very expensive,’ Ismayilova said. She appealed to the Ombudsman and the Minister of Justice in regards to the situation in the colony number 15.
