The Youth Information Service of Kazakhstan (MISK) reported that its website Youth.kz (an independent youth media project) had been blocked in Kazakhstan on the 28th of November. The site remains accessible via VPN. The project discusses important political news, and publishes legal case studies and tips which explain the processes and terms. The Ministry of Culture and Information explained that the block comes as a result of youth.kz's inclusion in the banned list of the Kibernadzor regulator which aims to prevent pyramid schemes and other fraudulent organization from operating in the RK. The MISK Media Coordinator Kristina Ryabova commented that the group had received no notification about illegal content from the Ministry - the editoral staff published materials and promoted events according to the proper regulations, she said.
