Activist Abzal Dostiyarov was fined by an Almaty court for posting a video with a poll asking for viewers' opinions on the construction of a Nuclear Power Station in Kazakhstan. The court found him guilty based on Article 120, part 3 of the Administrative Code of Kazakhstan ('Violating the rules for carrying out surveys linked to elections') and imposed a fine of 15 MCI, equivalent to 55, 380 KZT.
