In Kirov, journalist and former content director of Teplitsa Technologies for Social Good Natalya Baranova was fined for the fourth time under Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation for violating the procedure of activities of a foreign agent. Baranova wrote about the decision, which was issued by the Oktyabrsky District Court of Kirov on July 2, in her Instagram account. The journalist was fined RUB 30,000. The reason was that she did not provide the Ministry of Justice with a report on her activities for the third quarter of 2023. In this regard, a report was drawn up for her under Part 2 of Article 19.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation. Baranova is outside Russia. Before that, the journalist was fined twice RUB 30,000 under Part 4 of the same article (production of materials without a «foreign agent» marking) — in October and November 2023 — and once RUB 20,000 under Part 5 in December 2023.
