Police prevented Khatia Samkharadze, a journalist for Formula TV, and her cameraman from filming inside Kashveti Church, where individuals were seeking shelter during the dispersal of the anti-government protest. The police had entered the church to forcibly remove protesters and refused to allow the journalists to record. They were subsequently escorted off the church premises.
