Giorgi Kvizhinadze, a journalist for Formula TV, was affected by tear gas while covering the anti-government protest on Rustaveli Avenue. Riot police used tear gas, pepper spray, and water cannons to disperse the crowd. Kvizhinadze was live on TV at the time he was exposed to the gas.
