In the evening of 6 December, a search was conducted in the flat of the detained Meydan TV journalist Natig Javadli in Sumqayit. This was reported by his relatives. "Natig himself was attended during the search. The police first searched the cupboard and dumped all the books from there and checked the pages. Then they searched the bedroom. They took Natig's computer and a couple of his old flash cards. We only had 90 manat (about 54 US dollars) at home. They didn't take any money. The search lasted about two hours. They even checked the memory of the children's computers," said a relative of the journalist. A search was also conducted at the flat of another journalist from Meydan TV, Aynur Ganbarova (Elgunesh). "Aynur had the keys to the flat. When we came to her home everything was overturned. Most likely she herself was present during the search as the door of the flat had not been broken in. We don't know what they collected," a close relative of the journalist told Turan.
