The independent environmental media outlet Kedr, created in 2022, announced the shutdown of the project. As Ivan Zhilin, the editor-in-chief, explained, this was due to threats to those people who gave comments to Kedr. The threats came, in particular, from Anna Korobkova, the author of numerous denunciations. The Ministry of Justice included the media outlet in the register of foreign agents in November 2023.
