The blogger's flat was searched by investigators of the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul Region. The blogger reported about it in a live broadcast on Facebook. According to the investigators, the blogger is under criminal investigation for "extremist publications" in social networks. The broadcast was interrupted during the search. Mirlanbek Maratbek uulu spoke out on Facebook against uranium mining and criticised the actions of the authorities. Shortly before the investigators arrived at his home, the blogger was outraged by the introduced payment for the registration of IMEI codes of phones. In February 2023, Mirlanbek Maratbek uulu was already summoned for questioning by the investigative service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
