The Ostankinsky District Court of Moscow banned the video of journalist Karen Shainyan’s blog «Gay adoption: What kind of Russia will you choose?» for propaganda of non-traditional sexual relations. The ruling was issued on March 10 at the suit of the prosecutor’s office, which conducted an inspection following a denunciation by activists of the People’s Council movement. In March 2021, the video was blocked, the defendant appealed the decision. On July 7, the Moscow City Court cancelled the decision to ban the video, and the case was sent for a new hearing.
