The Vologda City Court imposed 25 hours of community service on local journalist Irina Yovzhiy, who was broadcasting a rally in support of Alexey Navalny on January 31, for allegedly applauding one of the speakers at the event. The trial took place on March 16, but only now Yovzhiy has received the motivating decision. As a result, the court found Yovzhiy guilty of participating in an unauthorised action (Part 5 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation).
