On April 19, Pallada Tsaghkadzor LLC filed a suit against Editorial Office of Newspaper Zhoghovurd LLC with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction, demanding to refute the information considered libel and to pay AMD 12 million (more than USD 30,000) as monetary compensation for damage to honour, dignity, and business reputation. The reason for the lawsuit was the article published on March 5 on the website Armlur.am, owned by Editorial Office of Newspaper Zhoghovurd LLC — «The authorities help A. Simonyan’s godfather, but nature hinders», where serious problems in the construction of multifunctional residential complex Pallada Tsaghkadzor are mentioned. The lawsuit is in the process of consideration.
