The publicist Alexander Skobov, who was arrested in April 2024 in the case of «justification of terrorism» (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) for a number of publications, was also charged with participation in the activities of an extremist community (Part 2 of Article 205.4 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). This refers to Skobov’s participation in the Free Russia Forum, which was declared «undesirable organisation» in February 2023.
