The independent media outlet Kurier.Sreda announced its shutdown. «The reasons were the impossibility to work under the conditions of military censorship and the impossibility to earn money honestly on the Russian market», — the editorial office said in a statement. Over the past two years of work, the media outlet was subjected to constant pressure from Roskomnadzor, prosecutors, police, Federal Security Sefvice and paid fines of almost one and a half million rubles for violating the «foreign agents» marking. The media outlet has been operating in Berdsk since 2003.
