The Moscow Court of Appeal has upheld a lawsuit filed by the Lenina 18B HOA in Petrozavodsk against Ilya Varlamov. The blogger was ordered to delete last year’s publication, in which he called opponents of the new rules for signage in Petrozavodsk «shitheads». Varlamov must also publish on his website the operative part of the judgement. In addition, RUB 15,000 was recovered from the defendant in favour of the lawyer and RUB 10,000 in favour of the HOA. The plaintiffs requested compensation in the amount of RUB 2 million.
