The Moscow Arbitration Court partially satisfied Rosneft’s claim against Sobesednik and Oleg Roldugin. They were ordered to refute a March article about Lunnaya Polyana, Vladimir Putin’s «personal ski resort» registered to Rosneft. In the lawsuit, the company demanded compensation for reputational damage in the amount of RUB 500 million (jointly from the journalist and the media outlet), deletion of six disputed text fragments and publication of a refutation. The court satisfied the claims only partially: it recognised all the disputed fragments as inaccurate and defamatory and ordered the defendants to publish a refutation. The plaintiff was denied compensation for reputational damage.
