Local blogger Umid Miraliyev was brutally beaten in Qashqadaryo. The blogger claims that he and his younger brother were beaten at the behest of the local authorities. The blogger says that as a result of the attack he sustained injuries that later left him disabled and complains that his attackers went unpunished.
