Karen Melik-Tangyan, Director of the «Mother Armenia» Museum of Military History of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Armenia, filed a lawsuit with the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction against Social Media LLC, the founder of the news website Mamul.am, demanding compensation for the damage caused to honour and dignity. The reason for the lawsuit was the article «Serviceman or crime lord? The head of the museum is out of place», published on the page of the website «Spokesman». Later, the publication was deleted by the editorial office. The lawsuit is in the process of consideration.
