The Hrodna Prosecutor’s Office issued an official warning about the inadmissibility of repeated violation of the law to journalist Andrzej Pisalnik, an activist of the Union of Poles of Belarus, unregistered by the authorities. The reason was the journalist’s statements on the air of Polish radio stations Radio 24 and Radio 4. Hrodna prosecutor Uladzimir Klishin saw in Pisalnik’s judgements contradictions to the law on national minorities and on countering extremism. «The aim of the statements is to stir up national enmity and discord in the population on linguistic grounds, to form dislike and distrust towards representatives of state authorities of the Republic of Belarus, to spread false information about their activities», — the prosecutor’s office said.
