The court sentenced RusNews journalist Aleksandra Teplyakova to nine days of arrest. She was detained on January 31 during a broadcast from Lenin Square and spent the night until the trial in a special detention centre. She was declared guilty of allegedly obstructing traffic at an unauthorised action — Part 6.1 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation.
