The Basmanny District Court of Moscow has arrested in absentia Yekaterinburg-based journalist Dmitry Kolezev in the case of «military fakes». A criminal case was opened against Kolezev for dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Russian Armed Forces on the grounds of political hatred (Paragraph E of Part 2 of Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The case against Kolezev was opened back in November 2022. At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Justice declared the journalist a «foreign agent».
