In Crimea, Russian law enforcers searched the houses of the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Qırım Bekir Mamutov and the founder of the newspaper Seyran Ibragimov. According to the report, after the searches, Russian police officers went to the newspaper’s editorial office. Lawyer Edem Semedlyaev was not allowed into the editorial office to provide legal assistance. The journalists were taken to the building of the Centre for Combating Extremism. Bekir Mamutov was charged with offences under two articles — Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 («discrediting» the army of the Russian Federation) and Article 13.15 (dissemination of knowingly inaccurate information of public importance under the guise of reliable reports) of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation. After the report was drawn up, Bekir Mamutov was released.
