On May 22, it became known that the 40-year-old Mustafa Tursinbayev was arrested for publishing content in YouTube, the exact date of the attack on the blogger from Nukus is unknown. One of the sources said that the blogger was arrested about two or three months ago. A second source said that Tursinbayev's YouTube channel has not been updated for five months. There is no official information about the arrest. On March 20, 2024, the Nukus district court sentenced the blogger to five years of imprisonment under three articles of the Criminal Code of Uzbekistan.
