The police put Penza-based blogger Valentin Snegiryov on a federal wanted list. Penza police opened a criminal case against Valentin Snegiryov for libel (Part 2 of Article 128.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). The author of the complaint was the vice-governor of the Penza Region Sergey Fedotov. Snegiryov is in Israel and links his prosecution to anti-corruption investigations.
