In the villages of Katar-Yurt and Achkhoi-Martan, relatives of the activist Aslan Artsuyev, living in Germany, were detained: two cousins, an uncle, and a third cousin. Artsuyev said that the head of the Chechen police department of the Achkhoi-Martan district and Federal Security Service officers were involved in the kidnapping. The political migrant links the detention of his relatives to the fact that he criticised Vladimir Putin and Akhmat Kadyrov.
