Ivanovo-based journalist Sergey Kustov was attacked on March 12 at the site of the IL-76 crash that killed 15 people. According to the journalist, five policemen attacked him without warning, twisted his arms, demanded to delete the video footage, and took away his phone. After that, they put him in the service car UAZ and kept him there for about three hours. Kustov was accused of disobedience to the demands of police officers and was sentenced to 10 days of arrest.
